About

Lexa Madison is a Canadian actor based in Toronto, Ontario with a passion for physical theatre, queer stories, dance, music, and themes that push boundaries in both the theatre and film space. Trained at York University’s Acting Conservatory, Lexa has developed a versatile approach to their craft, influenced by the Batdorf Technique and her training with classical text.

During her time at York Lexa has had the pleasure of working with some of Toronto's most sought-after teachers such as Andrew Moodie, Erika Batdorf, Jaime Robinson, Laurel Paetz and many others who have given her a plethora of unique forms of training. With experience spanning from the hallmark channels Cancel Christmas playing alongside Judd Nelson on film, to portraying Evil Gabbi in She Kills Monsters on stage, Lexa is known for her physical abilities, stunt training, in-depth character work, and commitment to authenticity.

Lexa is trained in hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, gymnastics/stunt work, songwriter/singer, and she has also been vocally trained since the age of 7. Driven by a commitment to break through stereotypes and tell impactful and authentic stories, Lexa is very excited to continue to soak up all the arts have to offer.
